The Essentials

  • Just a quick 30 mile ride from the airport will bring you to paradise. Most guests choose to rent a car or golf cart for easy access to nearby attractions. See the Transportation Page for recommended rentals and transfer partners.

    There is parking inside the gate and street parking is available for large cars and additional space.

  • Gate Code: 8185#

    House Keys: Located in lockbox mounted on right side of the large entrance iron doors of the house. *We’ll share the lockbox code upon arrival for security.

  • We host up to 10 guests comfortably:

    • Four Bedrooms

    • 3 with King Size Beds: Enjoy ocean views and private bathroom and balcony.

    • 1 room with Full Bed & Pullout Couch: This room faces side balcony and private bathroom.

    • Additional Sleeping Arrangements: The living room couch can accommodate extra guests if needed. Bedding in bookcase behind curtain.

  • Our team provides daily dishwashing and light cleaning of the downstairs living areas to keep the villa comfortable throughout your stay. Fresh towels and bed linens are provided upon request rather than replaced daily as part of our commitment to water conservation. If you would like fresh towels, linens, or need anything urgently, please send us a text and we'll do our best to assist promptly.

    If you have personal laundry that you'd like washed, please place it in the provided laundry bag and leave it outside your bedroom door. Our team will collect it and return it as soon as possible. If items are delicate or sentimental please hand wash and dry on the balcony.

  • Air Conditioning: Please turn off air conditioning units when rooms are unoccupied or when you'll be away from the villa for extended periods. Your consideration helps us conserve energy and operate sustainably.

    WATER: The villa's water is fully filtered and safe for drinking, cooking, and making ice, so there's no need to purchase bottled water.

  • First off - An Oceanview Breakfast at the hotel lounge is included by our amazing team Kimbi, Ana & Genesis! Located in the Hotel Lounge.

    The Villa Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need—microwave, coffee pot, air fryer, and filtered drinking water. Just remember to turn on the stove’s propane before lighting and light all burners AND turn off propane when done.   • The downstairs living space features eclectic architecture and international furniture with large windows that frame the spectacular views, with a cozy sound system to set the mood.

    The Living and Dining Room: Are an open floor plan with small tv, large couch, gorgeous dining table brought here by one of the previous French owners paired with hand made Costa Rican bench and chairs.

    Sunroom: Great for yoga, Pilates, enjoying the ocean views.

  • Cosmo & Princessa (bro & sis) 🐾

    Our two friendly cats call the property home and are a beloved part of the villa experience. They may stop by to say hello, relax by the pool, or even spend time indoors if invited.

    Our housekeeping team takes care of feeding and fresh water daily, but if you'd like to spoil them a bit, you're welcome to use the food and water supplies provided in the kitchen.

    The cats often enjoy spending time inside the villa, including overnight. If you choose to welcome them in, we recommend keeping bedroom doors closed throughout the day and night to prevent them from accidentally becoming locked inside a room. They can also be quite active in the evenings and early mornings, so keeping bedroom doors closed can help ensure a restful night's sleep.

Waste Disposal Please don’t flush paper down the toilet—use the provided bins for that.


AC Usage Help us save energy! Turn off AC when you leave a room; it cools down fast.

Pool & Balcony Safety

Supervise Children Always supervise children near the pool and balcony areas.


Open Balcony The balcony features a rod iron railing; please be cautious as there is a drop.


Pool Use Enjoy the pool, but remember to rinse off before entering to keep the water clean. No diving, running, or rough play.

  • Playa Ocotal is just a short walk from the villa and is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica. Known for its volcanic black sand, access, and stunning sunsets, it's a favorite for both relaxing and exploring.

    A few favorite ways to enjoy the beach:

    • Walk down to Playa Ocotal and spend the day swimming, snorkeling, or relaxing.

    • Explore the tide pools at low tide and keep an eye out for starfish and other marine life.

    • Walk west along the beach to discover hidden coves, the beach swing, and scenic viewpoints.

    • For a more adventurous hike, follow the trail around the peninsula for spectacular ocean views.

    • Take a boat tour to discover secluded beaches and snorkeling spots only accessible by water.

    • Venture farther afield to explore other famous beaches, including Playa Conchal, known for its shell-covered shoreline.

    Local Tip: Playa Ocotal's volcanic black sand contains naturally occurring minerals and magnetic properties that many visitors find unique and restorative.

The villa connects to our boutique hotel through large bamboo privacy gates.
