Perched just above the shoreline in Playa Ocotal, the hotel is approximately a half-mile from the beach—a scenic walk for those who enjoy starting the day with a bit of movement, or a quick ride by golf cart or car for added convenience.
We are located just a few minutes (about 2–3 miles) from Playa del Coco, where you’ll find a variety of restaurants, shops, and local nightlife. Rideshare services such as Uber and local taxis are available if you’d like to head into town.
Many guests choose to rent a golf cart or vehicle to explore the surrounding area, while most tours and excursions include transportation, making it easy to plan your stay with or without a rental car.
While there’s plenty to explore nearby, many guests find themselves embracing the slower pace of Playa Ocotal—enjoying the peaceful cove, ocean views, and relaxed atmosphere, with the option to venture into Coco when they’re in the mood for something more lively.
